WHAT IS BROOKLYN POP?
Brooklyn Pop is an immersive exhibit celebrating the borough’s profound impact on pop culture, told through the lens of Brooklyn artist, Kaves. From the tough streets of the 1970s and 80s to today’s vibrant cultural scene, the exhibit highlights the grit and creative spirit that define the people of Brooklyn. Through storytelling, hand-built sets, films, audio and memorabilia, visitors will explore Brooklyn's role as a cultural epicenter shaping music, art, and film.
WHERE IS THE EXPERIENCE LOCATED?
Brooklyn Pop is located in Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Enter at 254 36th Street door and use the staircase on your right or the elevator directly ahead (button 2R).
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
A parking lot is available along Second Ave, between 36th and 39th Streets, with rates of $5 on weekends and $15 on weekdays. Street meter parking (meters free on Sundays) and free street parking are also available.
IS THE EXHIBIT ACCESSIBLE USING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?

WILL FOOD AND BEVERAGE BE AVAILABLE ON SITE FOR PURCHASE?
No, but there are many delicious dining options at Industry City, and we're located right above the food hall.
DOES THE EXPERIENCE TAKE PLACE IN AN INDOOR OR OUTDOOR VENUE?
This is an indoor exhibit.
HOW LONG DOES THE EXPERIENCE LAST?
Although there is no time limit for your visit, you can expect to be in the exhibit for about 60-90 minutes.
WILL THERE BE STROBE LIGHTS?
We do have one walkway with a projection that includes fast-moving lights, but this area can be easily avoided.
WILL THERE BE MERCHANDISE FOR SALE?
Yes!
ARE THERE CHAIRS AVAILABLE? CAN I BE SEATED DURING THE EXPERIENCE?
This is a walkthrough experience, but there are plenty of seating areas throughout the exhibit where you can pause and rest.
WILL RESTROOMS BE AVAILABLE ON-SITE?
Yes, restrooms are available on-site, as well as across the hall and in the first-floor food hall
THE TICKET SAYS 12-5pm, DO I HAVE TO ARRIVE AT 12pm?
You can arrive anytime during the operating hours of 12-5pm.
CAN I BRING ANIMALS?
Service animals are permitted.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
No.
WHAT ARE THE PROHIBITED ITEMS AT THE EXPERIENCE?
Weapons, drugs, markers, spraypaint, food, and beverages are prohibited, and smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere within the experience.
IS THE VENUE ADA COMPLIANT?
Most of the experience is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and we strive to accommodate everyone’s access needs. There is a small hallway that is not accessible, but it can be avoided.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
This is an indoor event and weather should not impact your visit.
ARE WHEELCHAIRS AVAILABLE TO RENT?
No.
CAN I PURCHASE A TICKET AT THE EVENT?
Yes, tickets are available at the exhibition venue and also online.
ARE REFUNDS ALLOWED? WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE POLICY?

DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET?
No, your contactless tickets will be validated when you arrive at the exhibition.
CAN I RESCHEDULE MY TICKETS TO ANOTHER DATE/TIME?

WHAT IS A BROOKLYN DREAM IMMERSIVE PLAY?
A Brooklyn Dream is an immersive theater experience that happens within the Brooklyn Pop exhibit. This play happens once a month and is a separate ticketed event. CLICK HERE to find out more about A Brooklyn Dream.
CAN I USE MY BROOKLYN POP EXHIBIT TICKET TO SEE THE PERFORMANCE OF A BROOKLYN DREAM IMMERSIVE PLAY?
No. A Brooklyn Dream immersive play requires a separate ticket for entry.
